Damn straight it's Mom, you two punk ass kids. Didn't she teach you anything about manners? "No arguing at the dinner table," she always said. But then there you go, bickering like little boys! Well she's not going to stand for this kind of behavior. Both of you are going with her right now, to your rooms, and you're going to stay there and think about what you did.

The two boys, Dallas and his brother, Democrat Brad Woodhouse, had been having some kind of partisan political argument on the show when Mrs. Woodhouse called in, intent on berating the middle-aged, high-powered politicians for their poor manners.

"I'm from down South and I'm your MOTHER" she tells them. "I'm hoping you have some of this out of your system when you come home for Christmas."

Steve Scully, the show’s host, jumped in to clarify: “This was not planned. She called in on the normal line.”

Well, you know what they say: Mama knows best. If only the rest of our country's crippling partisan conflicts could be resolved by a the scolding, aged mothers of our country's politicians.  That would be a demomracy for sure.
