The great state of Florida manages to produce the cream of the crop when it comes to criminal activity. Meet Dupree Johnson, a 19 year-old photographer whose exceptional talent for taking really, really good Instagram photos was also the bane of his existence.

A sheriff in Palm Beach, FL came across Dupree's Instagram account that didn't necessarily feature photos of food or friends and more like guns and money. Looking into Dupree's history, the sheriff's department discovered the long rap sheet for the photographer which included grand theft, burglary and felony possession of a fire arm. And with that, they searched his house.

Deputies discovered not only a glock under the mattress of Dupree's bed, but more than $250,000 in stolen jewelry, electronics and firearms. At that moment, we can only stipulate that Dupree deeply regretted posting the Instagram photos with his glock and stolen jewelry. Investigators believe Johnson is part of a team of thieves that robbed more than 40 senior community-housing neighborhoods in the last couple months.

By the time officials were done calculating Johnson's stash, they had charged him with 142 counts of being in possession of arms and weapon ammo.

But maybe Dupree happens to enjoy the finer things in life like jewelry and electronics and actually steal the goods? What if he is innocent?

"According to WPBF-TV reports, when investigators were filling out the arrest report, they asked Johnson for his occupation and he allegedly replied: 'Thief'"

OK, maybe not. Dupree's bail is set at $60,000 and sadly his Instagram account "Duce22certfied" is no longer working.

This should be a lesson to all kids, thieves and anyone contemplating a life of crime, it doesn't pay to post the photos on your Instagram account. You need to keep that shit private so that the law doesn't come crashing down on you. And furthermore, when you get arrested, exercise your 5th amendment right and do not tell the police your occupation is "thief." We're not lawyers but we're pretty sure that doesn't help your case.
