You, the good people of the the Internet, have been wanting Snoop Dogg to be your nature commentator ever since his "Plizzanet Earth" segment on Jimmy Kimmel went so viral you got to stay home from school and watch cartoons.

Now, your mortal prayers have been answered, because Snoop launched his very own nature show on the YouTube channel, Merry Jane. DOGG IS REAL.

The greatest story ever told began when Jimmy Kimmel featured Snoop doing "Planet Earth" parodies on his show. Fans loved watching the rapper-actor-lifestyle coach narrate the animal action and give his (sometimes profane) opinion on the natural world:

The segments were so well-loved and life-changing that more than 60,000 people signed a petition to "Get Snoop Dogg to Narrate Whole Season of Planet Earth."

He heard their cries, but instead of Going the "Planet Earth" route, Snoop did them one better and launched his own "Planet Snoop." It's not the exact parody the Internet asked for, but it's what we need right now. Dogg works in mysterious ways.

The first episode features an "epic battle" between a squirrel and a snake in which Snoop notes, "This squirrel is hard. What gang he from?"

Well shit, if we can motivate Snoop towards this kind of greatness with nothing more than some good old fashioned democratic petitioning … who knows what we can get him to do next? Moderate the next Presidential debate? Voiceover for Google Maps? Be the guy on the train at DIA that tells us we're delaying the departure of this train? The possibilities, like Snoop's infinite wisdom and marketability, are endless.
