The jury is out behind little deliberation — Rousey is our crush of the week. Naturally …
We’re sure everyone has heard of the “List Game” — where you and your significant other get to have a mental archive of top celebrities you both would like to … romance … given the chance? And if it happens, it can't be considered cheating? Because the list is strong, and nothing, not even jealousy, can fracture the authority of the list! List STRONG!
Which is mostly bullshit … because none of us would ever have a shot with someone like Zooey Deschanel, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez — or whomever — and would likely rage with jealousy if our ladies (or gents) actually got a shot with Jared Leto (mostly because we wouldn’t mind that double-up) — but it doesn’t mean we can’t show admiration for the most beautiful of the celebrities among us. This week? We’re listing Ronda Rousey.
She’s just a badass, period, and flaunts it like a powerful icon should. Beauty, brains, braun, bullshit-deflector, bone-breaker … this is all why we’re on a Rowdy Rousey trip this week:
Rousey is undefeated in her professional career …
Though her next match against Bethe Correia this weekend in UFC 190 will be a challenge (Correia is undefeated as well at 9-0), Rousey's career has been nothing short of electrifying — garnering herself 11 wins with no losses. If she lost every fight from here on out (she won't) she would still be considered one of the best fighters to ever enter the ring. Promise. Her status is already solidified — and she's just getting started. God bless her …
She gains weight to feel sexy …
"I felt like I was much too small for a magazine that is supposed to be celebrating the epitome of a woman. I wanted to be at my most feminine shape, and I don't feel my most attractive at 135 lbs., which is the weight I fight at," Rousey once told Cosmopolitan. "At 150 lbs., I feel like I'm at my healthiest and my strongest and my most beautiful."
She broke this woman's arm on TV …
… and she broke this guy's ribs on TV.
She calls out Floyd Mayweather for the coward he is …
In a May 2015 interview with “Access Hollywood” she was asked whether or not she would fight Mayweather, and her response was simply gold:
"… I don't think that me and him would ever fight unless we ended up dating."
When asked about it, Mayweather brushed it off by saying he didn’t "know who he is.”
And then Rousey beat out Mayweather for the ESPY of “Best Fighter” …
"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once. I'd like to see him pretend to not know who I am now."
Burn … JUDO-BURN!
She has every right to be an asshole, but still makes time for fans …
She's a path-burning model of positivity for kids …
Obviously …
… and finally, she looks likes this …
LIST STRONG!
